TITLE: PRICE'S CREEK LIGHTHOUSE

DESCRIPTION: Actually a front-range light, Price's Creek Lighthouse is the only one of eight lighthouses along the Cape Fear River, which were authorized by Congress in 1848, that is still standing. It sits on Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) property and is not accessible to the public. Visible from the ferry between Southport and Fort Fisher, NC, as the ferry approaches the Southport landing.
