A pink sky ovah the Portland Head Light…gawgiss! This famous lighthouse goes way back to 1791 when our country wsa brand-spankin' new! There's lots of interestin' history regardin' this famous lighthouse, includin' some disastrous shipwrecks. Why, in 1886, on Christmas Eve, The Annie C. Maguire, was shipwrecked right heeya. Everyone was saved and the survivahs spent that Christmas Eve eatin' the lightkeepah outta house an' home! You can see a message written righ on the rocks in memory of that event.
