UNUSED postcard featuring STATUE OF TOM AND HUCK

CAPTION: The Tom and Huck Statue at the foot of Cardiff Hill. It is a bronze, done by Frederick Hibbard of Chicago, commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. George A. Hahan and Dulany Hahan of Hannibal. It is one of the few in the world of fictional characters, and the only one dedicated to the spirit of boyhood. Cardiff Hill was one of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn's favorite playgrounds. A few feet from the statue Muff Potter's jail stood, and Huck's house was a half-block from here.
